One of probably the most made, if not * the * most made, but least saved of all New Year's resolutions is that of losing a few pounds.

The phrase "try" is, in my view, the one largest "weasel word" in the complete English language.

Why do I name it a "weasel word", you ask?

Simple …

The phrase "try", by its very definition, comes with a built-in "escape hatch".

If you say "you" strive "to do something and you do not, you can always use your" escape hatch "and" weasel "out of it by saying …

"Well, I attempted!"

Here's the deal …

You both will do one thing or you’ll not do one thing …

You both do one thing otherwise you do not do one thing …

There's no such factor as "making an attempt" to do one thing!

Think about it …

"Try" to learn this text.

You can not, are you able to?

You both will learn this text or you’ll not learn this text …

You both do not learn this text or …

You can not "try" to learn this text.

Nor …

Can you "try" to drop a few pounds.

You both will drop a few pounds or you’ll not drop a few pounds …

You both drop a few pounds otherwise you do not drop a few pounds …

It's that easy!

Reason # 2 – They concentrate on what they do not need.

There's a Creative Power inside you that makes you into the image of that to you give your consideration.

Most individuals who set out to drop a few pounds begin out by saying one thing like …

"I need to lose 50 kilos".

Question …

If you make an announcement to your self like …

"I need to lose 50 kilos" …

What are you giving your consideration to?

Those further 50 kilos, proper?

Therefore …

Since that's what you're giving your consideration to …

That's precisely what you'll have …

Those further 50 kilos!

In different phrases …

By making an announcement like …

"I need to lose 50 kilos" …

You're subconsciously setting your self up for failure earlier than you even start.

Form a transparent and particular psychological image of "the perfect physique which you’re constructing" and hold that image in your thoughts "everytime you consider your bodily self".

Reason # 3 – They hop on the dimensions each 5 minutes.

Many individuals who start a weight reduction program really feel this overwhelming want to hop on the dimensions each 5 minutes to see if their weight reduction program is working.

Now …

"Every 5 minutes" could also be a little bit of an exaggeration, however for some it's not removed from the reality. 🙂

Here's a query for you to ponder …
